| Hubbard's Glacier mountain range, Alaska. How I See It: Each and every day, hundreds of thousands of miles of ice break off these glaciers and melt. The shrinkage of our northern landscape is not only detrimental to the species who depend on it, but to those of us who can and will suffer from the ramifications of our actions on our ecosystem. Please stay informed with current environmental processes, local or global, and do as much as you can. There may be time left, and there may not be; despite this, we should still move as one, knowing full well of our current predicament and the effects on future generations. If we don't stand together, how can we possibly justify the damage to our ecosystem? Our planet? Food for thought. |
